This is a work by Ryo Matsuzawa, a woodworker I personally like who works under the brand name tabine.

The soft curves have been carved and polished by hand, giving the piece an exceptionally smooth texture that makes you want to keep stroking it. It has been carefully finished all the way to the back, so it can also be used upside down.

Because of its beautiful shape, it also works as an objet d’art even without any accessories placed on it. We have two of them in the hallway by our entrance.

It looks like an oversized glove or a handprint left in the snow. It has been gently carved toward the center.

Its pleasant texture mysteriously makes you want to slip your hand into it. Use it as a tray for your favorite accessories, to hold keys by the entrance, or to display dried flowers or potpourri by your bedside or on a shelf. The back is flat, so it can also be turned over and used as a display stand.

Like hand games or hand signs, we also recommend combining a left and right pair in various arrangements.

In an interior with many straight lines, pleasant curves can create a calming effect and help bring the room together. This tray suits any interior style and anyone who uses it.

This piece is finished with an oil made from natural materials.
