Wedding Rings · Special Rings
Thank you for discovering a ring by “dzdz / づづ” among the many brands out there.
For the past eight years, I have continued creating simple rings that blend seamlessly into everyday life.
I craft simple, elegant rings that are comfortable to wear and will look wonderful even as you grow older, without being tied to passing trends.
As the artisan, I personally create each ring from start to finish. These rings are especially meaningful to me, as I wear one as my wedding ring. If you have any questions, I would be happy to answer anything—from how they are made to what they are like to wear.

[About the Materials]

・18-karat yellow gold (can be changed to 22-karat gold as an option)
・18-karat white gold
・Combination of two types of gold
・Hard platinum
Skin-friendly 18K yellow gold
Made with 18-karat gold.
※18-karat gold = an alloy consisting of 75% gold and 25% other metals
Compared with silver, it offers superior corrosion resistance, is less prone to oxidation, and requires no special care.
18-karat gold is approximately 1.5 times heavier than silver, making it a substantial precious metal.
The 18-karat yellow gold we use has a gentle, warm yellow tone with a hint of red. Its elegant color is not overly flashy and blends easily with Japanese skin tones (it is different from rose gold).
Many customers who had not considered a bright yellow gold at other stores choose yellow gold for dzdz's special rings.
Gray-colored 18-karat white gold
18-karat gold contains 75% gold, while mixing various metals into the remaining 25% creates a white color (18-karat rose gold, which we do not carry, is another example).
18-karat white gold has a deep, slightly brownish silver color. Due to the material’s properties—it has some give and flexibility (it is slightly softer)—its surface is more prone to scratches than yellow gold.
We often hear that white gold “tarnishes easily,” but this is because many rings are plated to make the white gold look whiter; with extended wear, the plating wears away and the color of the base metal becomes visible. At our store, we want you to enjoy the material’s natural color without plating.
A combination of two types of gold
This ring combines two materials: 18-karat yellow gold and 18-karat white gold.
The look changes depending on whether yellow gold or white gold is chosen as the primary color.
It is also popular for couples to switch the primary materials between their rings. This ring is recommended for couples who prefer different colors or are having trouble deciding which color to choose.
Platinum, known for its white brilliance
Made with hard platinum (PT950).
Compared to white gold, which has a slightly brownish tint, platinum is characterized by its pure, white, brilliant color.
It has a higher specific gravity than gold, giving it a more substantial and luxurious feel.
Although these rings have a simple design, combining the metal color, width, and engraving creates rings that are uniquely yours.
[About the shape]
This oval-shaped ring features softly rounded curves both inside and out.
Its gentle, rounded form sits comfortably against you every day.
Wear it with confidence when holding hands with someone dear or touching something precious.
The ring’s height is kept low to prevent interference with adjacent fingers, so it remains comfortable even when worn continuously.
[Regarding width]
Available in six widths: 2.0 mm, 2.6 mm, 3.2 mm, 3.8 mm, 4.4 mm, and 5.0 mm.
Learn more about the differences in thickness

K18 Classic Oval Ring / 2.0mm
At 2.0 mm wide, this is a delicate thickness for a wedding band.
Recommended for those who want to enjoy stacking it with an engagement ring.
Among the male customers who visited our store, one person wanted the 2.0 mm option because he was not used to wearing rings and “didn’t want it to stand out.” However, when he tried it on, it gave a feminine impression and stood out more instead.
Please take your time deciding while considering your build and the shape of your fingers.

K18 Classic Oval Ring / 2.6mm
This is generally a popular thickness among women. Neither too thick nor too thin, it has a well-balanced appearance typical of a wedding band.

K18 Classic Oval Ring / 3.2mm
This thickness provides a moderate volume that is not overly assertive, along with excellent durability.
This thickness is often chosen by men and offers sufficient strength for long-term wear.
It is also chosen by women who love accessories and jewelry and want to wear something slightly more casually.

K18 Classic Oval Ring / 3.8mm
K18 Classic Oval Ring / 4.4mm
K18 Classic Oval Ring / 5.0mm
As the ring becomes thicker, its presence increases significantly, giving it a more casual impression. Because the material’s mass increases with the thickness, you can appreciate the substantial feel of the gold. It is also strong enough to withstand many years of wear. Its durability is less likely to decline after resizing or repairs, making this a thickness you can enjoy for a long time.
The 3.8 mm option has a casual feel and is recommended for those who enjoy fashion.
As the maker, I chose a thickness of 4.4 mm. It feels thick and casual, but I chose it because I thought it would look stylish even when I am a grandfather.
At 5.0 mm, this ring is quite thick and casual for a wedding band. It looks very stylish when worn on the index finger, which is why we offer it as part of our lineup.
The thickness is generally divided into six sizes, but we can custom-make the thickness according to your preferences.
〔About engraving〕
You can add beautiful, delicate engraving using a precision laser.
The cost is ¥5,000 per item, or ¥8,000 when ordering two items with the same engraving.
Although this service is paid, our in-house equipment enables beautiful engraving with an accuracy of 0.01 mm or better.
Since this is not a ring with free engraving (engraving included), you can also choose an ultimately simple ring without engraving. Thirty percent of our customers to date have chosen not to add engraving.
