This is a piece by Ryo Matsuzawa, a woodworker I personally admire who works under the brand name tabine.

The soft curves are carved and polished by hand, giving it such a smooth texture that you will find yourself wanting to run your fingers over it. The back is also carefully finished, so it can be used upside down.

Its beautiful shape also allows it to stand alone as an objet d’art even without accessories on it. We have two placed in the hallway by our entrance.

It resembles an oversized mitten or the imprint of a hand left in the snow. It has been gently carved toward the center.

Its pleasantly smooth texture mysteriously makes you want to slip your hand into it. Use it as a tray for your favorite accessories, as a place to keep your keys by the entrance, or to hold dried flowers or potpourri on a bedside table or shelf. It has a flat back, so you can turn it over and use it as a display stand.

Like hand games or hand signals, we also recommend combining a left and right set in various configurations.

In an interior filled with straight lines, pleasant curves can create a calming atmosphere and bring a sense of cohesion to the room. This tray suits any interior style and anyone who uses it.

This piece is finished with oil made from natural materials.
