This is a piece by Ryo Matsuzawa, a woodworker I personally like who works under the brand name tabine.

The gentle curves have been carved and polished by hand, giving the piece an incredibly smooth texture that makes you want to keep stroking it. The back has also been carefully finished, so it can be used upside down.

Its beautiful shape also allows it to stand alone as an objet d’art even without any accessories placed on it. We have two displayed in the hallway by our entrance.

It resembles an oversized mitten or the impression of a hand left in the snow. It has been gently carved toward the center.

Its pleasant texture mysteriously makes you want to slip your hand into it. Use it as a tray for your favorite accessories, as a place to put your keys by the entrance, or to hold dried flowers and potpourri on a bedside table or shelf. It has a flat back, so it can also be turned over and displayed as a stand.

Like hand games or hand gestures, we also recommend combining a left and right set in various configurations.

In an interior with many straight lines, pleasant curves can create a soothing atmosphere and bring a sense of cohesion to the room. This is a tray that suits any interior style and anyone who uses it.

This piece is finished with oil made from natural materials.
