Repairs, resizing, and repolishing

Labor costs vary depending on the repair details.

If a product breaks shortly after purchase without having been subjected to strong force or another such cause, we will handle it free of charge as an initial defect.

Repairs and resizing are more difficult and time-consuming than making an item, but we will handle them responsibly.

〔Estimated labor costs〕

□ Repolishing
　　　3,000 yen or more (labor costs vary depending on the condition)

□ Scratch removal & repolishing
　　　6,000 yen or more (labor costs vary depending on the type of product and condition of the scratches)

□ Repairing a damaged silver or brass earring (one side) or ring
　　　3,000 yen or more

□ Resizing silver and brass rings
　　　Decreasing the size: 3,500 yen
　　　Increasing the size: 7,000 yen + material cost (approximately 2,000 yen or more)

□ Resizing 18-karat gold rings 1.5 mm or thinner
　　　Decreasing the size: 3,500 yen
　　　Increasing the size: 7,000 yen + material cost (approximately 2,000 yen or more)

□ Resizing 18-karat gold rings 1.8 mm or thicker
　　　Decreasing the size: 4,000 yen
　　　Increasing the size: 8,000 yen + material cost (approximately 3,000 yen or more)

□ Classic Oval Ring
　　　Decreasing the size: 5,000 yen
　　　Increasing the size: 10,000 yen + material cost (e.g., approximately 4,000 yen or more for 2.6 mm)

Prices may vary depending on the condition of the product and the impact of busy periods. Please be aware of this in advance.

A separate shipping fee will be charged for returning the product to you.

 

〔Important notes and points regarding repairs〕

□ During resizing, the ring is cut, joined, shaped, and refinished, so its appearance may change slightly. Please be aware of this in advance.

□ There is a limit to how much the size can be adjusted (approximately ±3 sizes).

□ For delicate items, we may make the item using new material.

□ For ring resizing, we recommend measuring with a ring gauge. If you do not have a ring gauge, you can rent one. The rental fee, including round-trip shipping, is 500 yen. If you rent one, you can return the ring to be resized together in the envelope provided for returning the ring gauge.

□ If the item has an engraving, it may become faint or disappear.

□ Repairs are limited to products from 【づづ / dzdz】.
   For repairs of products other than those from our store, please contact the brand or store where you purchased them. We will take responsibility for repairing products from 【づづ / dzdz】.

〔Repair process〕

□ Copy and fill in the information below, then contact us at contact@dzdz.jp.

□ We will send you the repair fee and payment page in our reply. If you agree to the details, please complete the procedure using the payment page we send you.

□ After completing the procedure, please send the ring to the designated address (which will be provided by email). (You are responsible for the shipping costs.)

□ Repairs will be completed within approximately 30 days of receipt (depending on the work required, it may take approximately one week).
