This is a piece by Ryo Matsuzawa, a woodworker I personally like who works under the brand name tabine.

The soft curves are carved and polished by hand, giving the piece an incredibly smooth texture that makes you want to keep stroking it. It is carefully finished on the underside as well, so it can be used upside down.

Because of its beautiful shape, it also works as an objet d’art even without any accessories on it. We have two placed in the hallway by our entrance.

Like an oversized mitten or a handprint in the snow. It has been gently carved toward the center.

Its pleasant texture mysteriously makes you want to slip your hand into it. Use it as a tray for favorite accessories, a place to put your keys by the entrance, or to hold dried flowers or potpourri on a bedside table or shelf. The underside is flat, so it can also be turned over and used as a display stand.

Like hand games or hand signs, we also recommend combining a left and right set in various arrangements.

In an interior with many straight lines, the presence of pleasing curves creates a soothing atmosphere and helps bring the room together. This tray suits any interior style and any user.

This piece is finished with oil made from natural materials.
