This is a piece by Ryo Matsuzawa, a woodworker I personally like who works under the brand name tabine.

The soft curves have been carved and polished by hand, giving the piece a wonderfully smooth feel that makes you want to keep running your hands over it. It has been carefully finished on the underside as well, so it can be used upside down.

Its beautiful shape also allows it to stand alone as an objet d’art even without any accessories on it. We have two placed in the hallway by our entrance.

It looks like an oversized mitten or a handprint left in the snow. It has been gently carved toward the center.

Its pleasant, intriguing texture makes you want to slip your hand into it. Use it as a tray for your favorite accessories, as a place to put your keys by the entrance, or to hold dried flowers or potpourri on a bedside table or shelf. It has a flat underside, so you can turn it over and use it as a display stand.

Like hand games or hand signs, we also recommend combining a left and right pair in various arrangements.

In an interior with many straight lines, the addition of pleasing curves can create a sense of calm and bring the room together. This is a tray that suits any interior style and any user.

This piece is finished with oil made from natural materials.
