How to Measure for a Classic Oval Ring
We use a specialized tool called a ring sizer to measure ring sizes.
【Tips for Measuring】
・Fingers may swell or shrink depending on the temperature and time of day, causing the size to fluctuate. We recommend measuring multiple times at different times.
・If the ring sizer gets stuck and won't come off, apply dish soap or hand soap to remove it.
・Fit preference varies from person to person. Please choose the size that best suits your preferred comfort. However, if your finger becomes congested when you clench your hand, it is too tight, so please be careful.
【How to Use a Ring Sizer】
We use a Meiko brand comfort-fit ring sizer.
Its inner surface is rounded (comfort-fit), which is similar to the shape of our rings.
*Using a ring sizer with a flat inner surface may result in a slightly different size perception.
Place any excess part of the sizer on a table or similar surface and measure while allowing the wire to slacken slightly. If extra weight is applied to your finger, it may not measure correctly.
Put each ring sizer on your finger, clench and open your hand, and find your preferred fit.
The number written on the side of the ring is the ring size.
*While there is also a method of stacking multiple ring sizers depending on the ring's thickness, for the Classic Oval Ring, which has less surface area touching the finger, we recommend measuring with a single ring sizer regardless of the ring's thickness.
【For those who feel a catch at the knuckle】
If your knuckles are thick and the base of your finger is thin, wearing a ring sized for your knuckle thickness will cause the ring to fit loosely at the base of your finger.
Please choose a size that fits snugly at the base of your finger, not at the knuckle.
If the ring catches at your knuckle and won't go on or come off, lightly bend your finger while putting the ring on.

【For those who don't usually wear rings】
There may be some who don't usually wear rings and whose wedding ring will be their first ring.
Those unaccustomed to wearing rings may initially find them a bit tight, and many tend to choose a ring that is slightly larger than their actual size.
However, when it comes to rings, "bigger is not always better."
