How to Measure for a Classic Oval Ring
Measure your ring size with a ring sizer, a specialized tool for determining ring sizes.
【Tips for Measuring】
・Fingers may swell due to temperature or time of day, causing the size to fluctuate. It is recommended to measure multiple times at different times of the day.
・If the ring sizer gets stuck and won't come off, apply dish soap or hand soap to remove it.
・Fit preference varies from person to person. Please choose a size that matches your preferred fit. However, if your finger becomes engorged when you clench your hand, it is too tight, so please be careful.
【How to Use a Ring Sizer】
We use the Meiko Manufacturing D-shaped comfort fit ring sizer.
It is a ring sizer with a rounded inner surface (D-shaped comfort fit), similar to the shape of our rings.
*Using a ring sizer with a straight inner surface may result in a slightly different size perception.
For demonstration purposes, the ring sizer has been removed from the wire.
Please use the rental item without removing it from the wire.
When doing so, measure by placing the excess hanging part of the sizer on a table, or by supporting the weight of the sizer with the hand that is not being measured. If excess weight is applied to the finger, it cannot be measured accurately.
Place each ring sizer on your finger, clench and open your hand, and find your preferred fit.
The number written on the side of the ring is the ring size.
*While there is also a method of measuring by stacking ring sizers according to the thickness of the ring, for the Classic Oval Ring, since the area that touches the finger is small, we recommend measuring with a single ring sizer regardless of the ring's thickness.
【For those who feel a catch at the knuckle】
If your knuckle is thick and the base of your finger is thin, wearing a ring sized to your knuckle will cause the ring to fit loosely at the base of your finger.
Please choose a size that fits snugly at the base of your finger, not at the knuckle.
If the ring catches at your knuckle and won't go on or come off, lightly bend your finger while putting on the ring.

【For those who don't usually wear rings】
Some people do not usually wear rings, and their wedding ring may be their first ring.
Those who are not used to wearing rings may initially find them a little tight, and many tend to choose a slightly larger ring than their exact size.
